Empowering the Future Through Education: The ‘Back to School’ Program
Healthcare alone cannot lift Burundi out of poverty. A strong nation needs educated citizens who can drive change in every sector. That is why, alongside our medical mission, we are deeply committed to empowering young Burundians through education.
The ‘Back to School’ program is the heart of our community support efforts, helping underprivileged children return to school and pursue a brighter future.
Our vision is to support as many underserved primary school children or orphans as possible—whether Christian or not—who would otherwise never have the opportunity to go to school.
Currently, we are supporting a pool of 130 children every year, providing them with basic school supplies and equipping them until they finish primary school.
Caring for Creation: Tree Planting and Environmental Awareness
Deforestation in Burundi is at a critical level, leaving the mountains bare and the land vulnerable to erosion, drought, and food insecurity. The lack of awareness about the importance of trees has contributed to this crisis.
We are committed to restoring Burundi’s environment by organizing tree-planting activities and educating communities on the need to protect and nurture forests.
Through these efforts, we hope to not only restore the land but also instill a sense of responsibility for God’s creation in the next generation.
